New Interests & New Skills for Every Member of Your Family
Get in shape, find new interests and take classes for just fun by signing up for courses and workshops presented by Foothill’s Community Education Program. A variety of informative and fun classes are offered this winter for every member of your family.
These fee-based, non-credit classes are ideal for those interested in taking college-level courses without the formality of units or who wish to repeat select courses multiple times.
Exercise for All
This winter, community education course offerings include yoga, Pilates, fitness boot camps and choreography, as well as memberships to use the Fitness Center and pool.
Memberships—You can now purchase 12-week membership to use the Olympic-size swimming pool and state-of-the-art Fitness Center five days a week at Foothill College. Memberships also include use of on-campus locker rooms and showers. Bring your own combination lock to secure your personal belongings.
- For $80, purchase a membership pass to work out in Foothill’s Fitness Center. You’ll build strength, improve flexibility, exercise at your own pace and receive helpful tips from Fitness Center staff.
- For $80, purchase a membership pass to swim in the college’s heated pool. Do laps, or deep-water walking, and get tips to improve your techniques from aquatics staff.
- For $120, you can purchase a membership pass to use both Fitness Center and swimming pool facilities.

Swim Lessons—Small group, private and semi-private swim lessons are also offered for children and adults. Lesson prices vary depending on the option you choose. Personal Enrichment Classes
Learn new skills, explore new interests and have fun when you take personal enrichment classes offered by Foothill’s Community Education Program. From magic to Microsoft, ceramics to design thinking, choreography to Pilates, and more, community education classes are as varied as they are fun and informative. We Want You to Teach Community Education Classes
If you have the passion to share your knowledge and skills with others, Foothill invites you to to submit proposals for new community education classes, especially computer camps, personal enrichment topics, professional development workshops, and interesting classes that will appeal to youth, working adults and active seniors.
