Dental Hygiene students teach good oral hygiene in Vietnam

This year’s winter break was one a group of Foothill College dental hygiene students won’t soon forget.  Instead of working, shopping, or visiting with family, they traveled to Vietnam and helped over 1,000 children learn the value of good oral hygiene. Last summer, Cindy Ngo, mother of dental hygiene student Diana Ngo, heard that several students from the college’s traveled to Honduras each summer as part of Medical Brigades, an international organization that provides healthcare to rural communities.

Campus goats integral part of veterinary technology program

If you have ever visited the Foothill College campus you may have noticed a group of goats near the Lohman Theatre. It's hard not to. Depending on the time of the day they may be kicking around a ball, climbing their wooden play structure, or eagerly anticipating meal time.

Passionate faculty and creative students tell stories with sound

Foothill College Music Technology Instructor Eric Kuehnl spent much of his career in the music and sound design industry, working at two audio technology giants, Avid and Sony. He brings his industry experience to his classes, and sees his students as entrepreneurs who will take the skills they learn from the music technology program and use them in a variety of disciplines.
