Foothill College is coming to Mountain View and Alta Vista high school campuses to offer juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college units and complete a college-level anthropology or early childhood education course this fall.
New Student & Parent Orientations Are Sept. 16
Foothill College will host New Student Orientation Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event gives incoming freshmen the opportunity to meet other new students and get answers to questions about attending Foothill College. Admission is free when you sign up at foothill.edu/nso/.

Honors Calculus Course Debuts This Fall

Foothill College debuts its first honors math course this fall with MATH 1AH: Honors Calculus I and MATH 1AHP: Honors Calculus I Seminar, which are taken concurrently. The first honors course of its kind to be offered by a California Community College, both courses explore concepts of applied and theoretical mathematics, and expect students to gain deep conceptual understanding in both areas.

The proceeds were raised at the civic group's spring cioppino feed.
